How to adjust and control the ph value during the processing of organic fertilizer equipment

Organic fertilizer equipment requires fermentation treatment when processing organic fertilizer, and fermentation bacteria play an important role in this process. Fermentation bacteria are suitable for neutral or alkaline environments, which are conducive to the reproduction, decomposition, and survival of fermentation bacteria. In order for them to play a role in fermentation, it is necessary to regulate the pH value to achieve results. Today, the editor of Qingdao Yongzheng Machinery will explain to you
How to regulate the pH value during the processing of organic fertilizer equipment:
The suitable living environment for bacteria and actinomycetes is neutral or slightly alkaline, while fungi prefer acid. During the fermentation of organic wastes such as feces, the bacteria and fungi inside release some organic acids when decomposing and digesting organic substances. Organic acids will form an accumulation of organic acids during the continuous fermentation of organic wastes such as feces, resulting in a decrease in the pH value of the fermentation material. At this time, the pH environment is suitable for the propagation and decomposition of fungi, as well as the degradation of wood and fiber in the fermentation materials. As the organic acids are further degraded by the fermentation bacteria, the pH value of the fermentation materials slowly begins to rise. The suitable pH environment allows actinomycetes and fungi to start to multiply, decompose, and the fermentation and ripening speed begins to accelerate.
The low pH value is mainly affected by excessive water content or fine materials. At this time, the fermentation of organic wastes such as feces can easily become anaerobic. When it becomes anaerobic, the accumulation of organic acids can reduce the pH value to within 4.5, which is a serious impact on the activity of fermentation bacteria inside the compost, stopping their activity and entering dormancy or dying. At this point, it is necessary to use a manure tipping machine to supply oxygen to the material. After the material is turned over, it is relatively breathable compared to the previous one, with sufficient oxygen content. Sufficient oxygen content can restore the PH environment of organic wastes such as manure to the normal range.
Due to the high pH value, many fermentation bacteria have reduced activity and are not able to decompose and reproduce the material. If the pH value is higher than 11.5, the fermentation bacteria begin to die in large numbers, causing protein denaturation in the fermentation material, inactivation of enzyme proteins, etc., which affects the fermentation cycle and the quality of organic fertilizer.
However, the PH value of common fermentation materials does not need to be adjusted, and the ones that do not need to be adjusted include: farm manure, sewage treatment plant sludge, straw, peat, mushroom residue, etc. Here, it is explained that the pH value of a normal compost fermentation environment is 5-9. If the PH value of manure fermentation is higher than 9, it is necessary to adjust the pH value, which can be adjusted by adding iron chloride, alum, strong acid, or compost returns. If the pH value is lower than 4, lime can usually be added, Regulating peat ash, etc., and properly adjusting the pH value during fecal fermentation can affect the fermentation environment, facilitate the growth, reproduction, and decomposition of fermentation bacteria, shorten the fermentation cycle, and enhance the quality and quality of fermented materials converted into organic fertilizer.
